On June 6, 2017, the West Palm Beach Rotary Club honored 83 new Paul Harris Fellows. This phenomenal luncheon event was held at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach.
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges people who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation. Those donations are used to fund service projects that change lives locally and internationally. During the past 100 years, the Foundation spent $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
Richard Linn, Past President of the WPB Rotary Club has been chairman of the Club's Foundation Committee since 1998. He led this successful project with the following vision, "In February of this year I thought since this is the 100th anniversary of the Rotary Foundation it would be special if we made a big push to try and have a large number of new participants join in."
